Hate

...So I was browsing through myspace on some bored shit (Labor Day Monday, I'm chillin). Every profile I see especially females has something about "keep doin what you do haters you makin me better" "I love my haters", corny shit like that. Main-O even got that song called Hi Haters, which is a bunch of bullshit to me. I'd just like to take a second to dissect what I think "hatin" is and some good examples of that.

I just stated that I think Hi Haters is lame as shit, right? Am I hatin? NO! I'm stating my opinion, I don't like it. If I don't like it, I don't like it, that don't mean that I'm hatin - Common. Some of you girls claim you get hated on, NO, you just ugly, a bitch, or both. Point. Blank. Period.

Alright, A Dot, what IS hatin then? Hating is not when you dislike or disagree with someone or their actions, its when you feel that they shouldn't be successful and wish bad upon them. Jesus Christ, my friend, was hated on. They didn't just disagree with Him, or not like where He was coming from, they beat Him and killed Him. Martin Luther King was hated on. Malcolm X was hated on. Barack Obama is being hated on something serious! I've never seen/heard so much hate for any person running for President! I'm talkin bout "Obama is the Anti-Christ", "Obama is in cahoots with the terrorists" I mean there's already been suspicion of a plot to assassinate him. On a lower scale minus the killing, cuz everyone thats hated on isn't being assassinated, Soulja Boy gets a lot of hate too. Not only do people dislike his songs, they just really regret that he's successful. 9th Wonder too, a lot of people disregard his success on some "man he just usin a computer i can do that shit too".

So what about you A Dot, who hates on you? Well, shit, nobody. I mean some people don't like my music, or really don't give a fuck, but shit thats not hatin. I haven't done anything to be hated on except for bang a couple nigga's bitches, but thats a whole different topic.

In conclusion, the word hatin/hater/hate is losing its meaning and is getting played out. I guess I'm "hatin" on the word "hatin".
